It’s very important to keep the body in good health. Why? Well, the body is dedicated to physical activity and an overall healthy lifestyle.
“To keep the body in good health is a duty… otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.” Buddha
How I Keep the Body in Good Health
When I enlist “help” (i.e., a physical trainer, nutritionist, healthy friends), I let them know right off the bat that I want to keep my curves. My “fitness” goals are in this order:
- Optimal health, toning and weight loss (a natural byproduct of working out)
- Increase strength and flexibility (I will master the art of the pole)
Here, I offer tips and facts on exercises, food, products, work out gear, etc… I only share what I have found to be good for the body… curves and all.
The Journey to Good Physical Health
I do not profess to know it all. In fact, looking at my body, one might ask what gives me the authority to offer any tips to keep the body in good health.
This is about my personal journey and the life changing events that I encounter. I am sharing in an attempt to help others who may not know better.
Yes, I have messed up A LOT along the way. Since this is “my journey”, I’m kinda doing it my way. I have clear cut goals, but in the words of Miley Cyrus:
“There’s always gonna be another mountain, I’m always gonna wanna make it move, Always gonna be an uphill battle.
Sometimes I’m gonna have to lose, Ain’t about how fast I get there Ain’t about what’s waitin’ on the side…. It’s the climb.”
